Chili's... first of all there's tons of mexican which makes it amazing, but then on top of that, if you don't want spicy food but instead comfort food, they have the best country fried steak and mashed potatoes! MMM!

With only these 2 choices, I'd say Applebees.
Applebees, but only because they're ultimately cheaper.Both of them suck.
