Did you learn about the birds and the bees from your parents?

or did you just pick it up from school and the streets?Did you learn about the birds and the bees from your parents?
nope i got to know about it from books.Did you learn about the birds and the bees from your parents?
I don't remember my parents telling me too much info. I learned most things from my older sister and my friends.

I don't know when a good age to tell kids is but this world is crazy so I would definitely tell them there are bad people that could try to touch your no-no-special place and not to let them and to tell an adult. Maybe during that conversation I would tell them that it takes a man and a woman to make a baby, etc. I would use animals and their babies as examples.
yeah..
My parents had the ';talk'; with I and my sister.
my mum told me an also gave me a book.

i told my daughter at 10 about periods an gave her a pregnancy book then i answered all her questions an explained about std,s an contreception an stuff.

my son on the other hand he is 13 an for a couple of years iv drilled it into him about using condoms an the birds an the bees but he just nervously giggles an makes jokes,,obviously an embarrasing subject,
I picked it up in school...a classmate of mine borrowed a science book from her doctor's office cuz she saw it had some good stuff in it...ok, very juvenile, but that's how kids are when they're curious and know that it's a weird subject with their family, but easy with their peers because they are in the same boat.

If you want your kids to be and act responsible, you have to be the one to sit them down and talk about it, no matter how uncomfortable it is. And the most important factor is, to set the best example you possibly can. Before you do anything, ask yourself if you would want your kid copying you.
Books. Because birds and the bees don't have *****.
Hi Mojo, When I was a teenager my parents would never talk

able sex. You just didn't in those days. I learned about sex in School.

A Friend,

Nope. On my own.
school and the streets.

about the time they go to middle school or junior high...

when all the other kids from different schools enter the system.
A presentation at school informed me.

With kids maturing so much earlier, I think 10 is not too early.

Some girls are starting they cycles that early.
I learned of the birds from, the back of a seed bag and the bees from the back of a honey bottle.
I was told by my mother about menstruation and how babys are born. The rest I remember reading it in a kids magazine.
